Congratulations to Information Systems Professor Anindya Ghose on his recent win of the
highly competitive Google Faculty Research Award. He was awarded this prize for his research on measuring ad effectiveness and audience behavior on mobile devices.
Professor Ghose has developed methods to quantify cross-media synergies across web advertisements, mobile advertisements and mobile apps. He has also developed methods to quantify cross-device synergies between tablets, laptops, PCs and smart phones. This research has direct implications on digital marketing strategies and ROI. Most notably, this will affect brands that are investing in multi-screen presence, advertisers migrating to mobile search campaigns and firms investing in mobile apps.
Aside from teaching in the MS in Business Analytics Program, Professor Ghose will be delivering a free webinar tomorrow at 11am EST on mobile analytics. He is also teaching a two day executive education program on March 14-15 called “Leveraging Social Media and Digital Marketing for Business.”
